Kristina Harrison has been an HR Business Partner at Delicato Family Wines since 2022, providing support to the Sales, Marketing, Finance & Planning, and Supply Chain Management teams. She began her HR career at Jackson Family Wines as an HR Coordinator before transitioning into Talent Acquisition there. Kristina continued her recruiting path at Treasury Wine Estates and later joined Mezzetta as an HR Business Partner.  She earned her BS from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and has proudly called Napa Valley home for the past decade, where she resides with her husband and two children.

Rebecca Hopkins is an experienced wine communications strategist, speaker, moderator, host, and writer. With nearly three decades of professional experience in the wine business spanning Australia and the U.S., Rebecca founded and launched A Balanced Glass in March 2018 with a mission to provide education and resources to industry colleagues to help maintain health and wellbeing while working in the beverage alcohol industry.

Rebecca is a 10+ year student of yoga and meditation, with a focus on breath work to manage anxiety, stress, and as a tool to aid clearer communication. She resides in San Francisco and can often be found with yoga mat in hand.

I am a Northern California native and studied Business Management at Sacramento State University, where I received a Bachelor’s degree. My passion for wine began when I worked part time in the Niebaum Coppola tasting room. I quickly discovered that I wanted to combine my passion for wine with my human resources experience and landed at Pine Ridge & Archery Summit wineries. I have now been in the wine industry over 15 years and am absolutely thrilled to have recently joined Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars & Antinori Napa Valley as HR Director.

My husband, daughter and I live in Napa with our two rescue kitties, Zuse and Rosy. We spend our free time remodeling our 1880’s home.

HANNAH ROBINSON

Hannah M.P. Robinson is a Human Resources professional specializing in recruitment for over 10 years. In 2016, her HR career pivoted towards hospitality, working for the city of Austin, TX Convention Center and Palmer Events Center where she was the sole and head recruiter. Since then, she has found her joy in Napa, Sonoma, and Oregon wine industries working for Distinguished Vineyards as a Sr. HR Specialist and Recruiter, focusing on recruitment and retention for Markham Vineyards, MacRostie Winery, Argyle Winery, and Distinguished Vineyards national sales and operations divisions. Hannah’s methods and practices are concentrated on transparent recruitment strategies that integrate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D, E, &I) and high-impact interviewing, to obtain dedicated top talent suited for the industry. Hannah’s passion for growing D, E, & I in the wine industry and in HR practices has been her mission – to spread awareness and education in order to nourish and grow D, E,& I ambassadors.

JIM SHANAHAN

Jim Shanahan, Vice President of Human Resources, joined Purple Brands in 2014 (supplier of Raeburn wines and Redwood Empire Whiskey) and is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of related experience.  Prior to joining Purple, Jim spent 14 years with national retailer Gymboree, where he specialized in multiple disciplines including employee relations, performance management and staffing.  Jim holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. When not wearing his HR hat, Jim is either skiing, cycling, swimming or spending time with family and friends in Northern and Southern California.

VANESSA SHIMER

Trefethen Family Vineyards

Vanessa Shimer is the Executive Vice President at Trefethen Family Vineyards a family-owned estate vineyard and winery in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley.

Shimer started her career in human resources in hospitality with Auberge Resorts at Calistoga Ranch and Auberge du Soleil.  Prior to joining Trefethen, she was the Director of Human Resources at Carneros Resort and Spa in Napa Valley.  She first joined the wine industry in 2014 with Constellation Brands where she supported their Napa winery collection as well as their winemaking division.

Shimer has over 15 years of experience in human resources and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Sonoma State University with a concentration in Human Resources.

Stacy was born and raised in Silicon Valley, California. She attended San Diego State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater. Her career has been diverse and has covered various roles including hospitality management, business administration, and operations. Stacy moved to Napa 20 years ago to work in the wine industry. She pivoted into human resources a decade ago and is currently the Human Resources Manager at Cliff Lede Vineyards.

Stephanie Wycoff is the General Manager at Gary Farrell Winery, an iconic producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County.

Wycoff’s career spans nearly two decades of strategic leadership in sales, marketing, and operations for large and small luxury wine brands, including Gary Farrell, Seghesio, Archery Summit, Quivira, La Follette, and Anaba. With a passion for building collaborative and inspired workplace cultures, Wycoff has a track record of success in people leadership and has built high-performing teams who consistently deliver strong business growth.

Wycoff holds an MBA from Sonoma State University and has been recognized for her leadership with a Forty Under 40 award from the North Bay Business Journal.
